As a result of a cold start, an engine, when warmed up, will run too richly. "Blip" the throttle if your engine won't idle.
You can increase or decrease idle speed by rotating the adjustment screw one-quarter inch clockwise or counterclockwise. In other words, you should aim for a clutch-free idle. Set your idle speed so that your cutter attachment does not spin as soon as your engine becomes shut off.
